Many items can be "charged" to hold vibrations. Wands, even if not made of crystal, are great energy carriers, and jewelry that is loved and worn often will carry the energy of the wearer.
However, crystals (probably due to their molecular structure), have the uniqe ability to be easily "charged." (We will use the terms "charged", "blessed", and "programmed" interchageably, because they are all words representing the same practice - that of imprinting and adding your focused energy to that of your crystal.)
The first step to blessing your crystal is to center yourself. Breathe deeply and slowly, and allow your mind to become still, focusing upon your breathing. Then gently bring up and imagine a result you would like the crystal to help you achieve, and pick up your crystal.
There are several ways to transmit your thought imagine to your crystal. You may use either of the following methods - whichever one resonates with you.
One method is to transfer energy via your hands. Slowly and deeply, breathe in energy from the Universe and/or the Earth, and breathe out that energy along with your intention through your hands into the crystal. You may feel the energy actually flow from your hands into the crystal. If you don't feel it, just imagine the energy flowing into the crystal.
Another method is the third eye focus. Again, breathe energy in from the Universe and/or the Earth, and gently lift the crystal to your "third eye" (the area between your brows. Send the energy through your third eye directly into the crystal.
With either method, you can greatly enhance your connection to the crystal by using the following visualization technique. Close your eyes and imagine moving inside your crystal. Imagine your goals in the most wonderful ways possible, all happening inside your crystal. Create it with as many of your senses as you can. See it, smell it, touch it, hear it, taste it, make it real. When it feels real; slowly drift out of your crystal and open your eyes.
