About our packaging: We work hard to locate good, clean, recycled packing materials and use them whenever possible; and it is our hope that you also will re-use or recycle these materials once you've unpacked your items. US Shipping Time
Your items will ship from our local store or our warehouse. Most items are shipped from our local location within 3 business days of receipt - generally the next day, and if early enough, often the same day.

USPS Priority Mail takes about 3 business days to arrive at a US Destination. FEDEX ground takes from 1-7 business days, depending upon location. 2 Day Air takes two business days not counting the day your package is picked up. (Often Priority Mail is just as quick, and cheaper.)

Items shipped from our non-local warehouse take about a week to ship, and sometimes longer in heavy holiday periods.


How We Ship
Most of our US orders are sent via USPS Priority Mail service, insured. Items shipped from our warehouse will ship either Priority Mail or FEDEX/ UPS Ground. We also offer the option of two day or next day delivery. If you need your items faster, please call in your order for next day delivery via FEDEX or UPS.


Backorders
Sometimes we are awaiting delivery of a shipment and may hold your order for several additional days before shipping. If items are scheduled to arrive within 4-7 days, we'll email you to see if you prefer to

  • wait
  • substitute another product, or
  • receive a refund

    If items are not expected within a week, we'll issue you a refund and ship the rest of your items. (Generally we will still email you to offer you other options as well.)


    Ocassional Split Shipping
    When this is the case, we usually divide your shipment so that most items ship quicker. Multiple shipments will NOT cost you any additional shipping charges. Common items shipped from our warehouse may include large crystal balls and special order products. Please with any questions about shipping time for specific products.


    Potential Holiday Delays
    During holiday season due to a large volumn of orders, shipping can be delayed, although we make every effort to ship quickly. Please try to order early and allow ample time for delivery. (We cannot be responsible for USPS, FEDEX, UPS, or international customs delays.)

    US Air Shipping Delivery Status
    Tracking information is sent to the email address you provided when you placed your order. Especially important for those who have ordered via Next Day or Two-Day Air: please realize that USPS, FEDEX and UPS do NOT count the pick-up day or non-delivery weekend days as one of the delivery days!

    For example, if you place an order on Monday and select 2 Day Air, It will not arrive on Tuesday! (Depending upon the time of your order, it may be picked up on Monday, but could be picked up on Tuesday.)

    It is our policy to make every effort to ship rush orders the same business day as we receive them, but we cannot be held responsible for USPS, FEDEX and UPS policies.


    International Shipping Information
    International Orders are generally shipped via USPS Global Priority or First Class international, unless you specifically request Global Express. In order to avoid delays, we request non-Canadian/US orders use PayPal for payment.


    International Shipping Fees
    Shipping costs depend upon the weight of your package and its destination.

    If the difference between Priority and First Class is substantial, we'll email you and let you know the prices for both shipping options and ask your preference . This is one reason why international purchasers are requested to use PayPal - your shipping charges will come as a separate PayPal money request, therefore you'll always know exactly what your charges are.

    Below are some examples of International Priority Mail shipping costs to various countries. As an example, we used a two pound package insured for US $50.00. Your order may be different depending upon weight and insured value.

    Australia - 28.65
    Belgium - 27.40
    France - 26.40
    Great Britan - 27.40
    India - 26.10


    International Shipping Time
    International orders paid via paypal are shipped as soon as shipping fees are paid. Typically packages arrive in the destination country via International Priority in 6-10 days. First class will take a bit longer, but can be cheaper.

    Global Express is much faster, but also much more expensive, and we will only use this if you specifically request it. If you prefer Global Express shipping we recommend you email us first for delivery time and charges. Your tracking number will allow you to check the movement of your package.


    Possible Customs Delay
    Although we ship international orders quickly, please allow some additional days in case your local customs office decides to delay delivery. Example of customs delay: a customer in the Netherlands ordered on the 2nd day of the month (a Saturday). We shipped the order on Monday, the 4th. They received the order on the 21st - less 4 weekend days, the order took 13 business days to arrive.


    International Order Status
    We regret that we have no influence in speeding up your order through customs, and we have no way to check on your local customs office policies, potential delays and charges. Please note that you, the Customer, are responsible for any shipping charges, potential taxes, duties or other customs fees assessed in the country of delivery. If in doubt, please check with your local customs regulations prior to ordering.

    If your order is refused by local customs and returned intact to us, we will refund your original order amount (less any shipping fees). In 11 years, this has happened only once.

    Customs may randomly delay packages: we have had reports of no delay at all to just a day or two, we've also heard of package delays to up to two weeks. We sincerely regret that we have no control over this, nor a way to check.

     

Once your order has been processed for shipping, you will receive an automated shipping label notification from the carrier containing your tracking information. This will be sent to the e-mail address you've entered on your order form, so please enter your email address correctly.

Note to Paypal users: If you select the "other loctions" shipping option and complete your purchase via Paypal, we will send you a paypal bill for the shipping charges. You will need to complete payment before we can ship your order.
